We are extremely fortunate that Australia’s foremost children’s cyber safety expert, Susan McLean, will be a guest presenter at a parent information evening next term, Monday 29 October (Week 3).
Susan, with the Victorian Police for 27 years, became known as the ‘cyber cop’ as she was the first Victorian police officer appointed to a position involving cyber safety and young people.
Susan’s presentation “Growing up online” is an informative and entertaining session for parents and carers delivered with her famous ‘no-nonsense‘ approach and will cover the positive benefits of technology, as well as what parents need to be aware of.
