Kadina Memorial School has established strong links within the community, from students participating in events such as the bi-annual Kernewek Lowender festival, senior student work placements, to classes visiting local businesses as part of their curriculum learning.

We work closely with all government agencies and employment and training networks.

Artwork is often displayed in the local country show and exhibitions, staff participate in major charity events and our students proudly represent the School at ANZAC, Vietnam Veteran’s and Remembrance Day services.

In 2015, Kadina Memorial School was awarded the Large Business Employer Award at the annual Regional Development Australia Yorke and Mid North Celebration of Employment Awards.  This accolade recognises the site as one of the biggest employers in the region.  With this in mind, about 150 staff and their families play a pivotal role in our community through community and sporting organisations.

We welcome community groups to visit our school, or indeed our Primary School Choir will visit them!
