Our Community

Kadina Memorial School has inherited a rich, vibrant heritage from Kadina Primary School and Kadina Memorial High School.  Through both KPS and KMHS, our school enjoys a strong relationship with the community, from participating in local festivals, exhibitions and shows, acknowledging our ancestors and former scholars and inviting family and friends to our annual events, such as sports day. We recognise today's student cohort are the community leaders of the future. Class visits to shops and museums, presentations by local organisations such as Sea Rescue, MFS and music groups, and senior student work placements, ensure our school is intrinsically part of the community. In Term 4 many former scholars, local leaders, business people and community groups are invited to our R-6 and Year 7-12 Prize Giving Ceremonies.  This is an important event on our annual calendar where as a school we acknowledge the efforts of students in academia, sport and the community who reflect the KMS values of Opportunity, Respect and Excellence.
