Kadina Apex Scholarships

What are the Kadina Apex Scholarships?

The Apex Scholarships were established in 2018 by the Kadina Apex Club. The scholarships have a special emphasis on the development of opportunities for members of our community through apprenticeships and tertiary education. They aim to ensure that our residents’ aspirations and goals are not disadvantaged by family circumstances or by having a rural background.

The Kadina Apex Club offers two Scholarships per year, one to a first-year apprentice, and one to a first-year tertiary student. Each scholarship is to the amount of $3000 for a one-year period only. Scholarships are provided to assist with tuition, accommodation, travel and equipment.

Who can apply?

The Apex Scholarships are open to individuals living in the Copper Coast and surrounding areas and who are completing their final year of secondary school, including Year 11 students who may start a trade.

Applicants must be intending to commence their first year of enrolment in a tertiary course or their first year of being contracted to an apprenticeship in 2024.
